My wife and I have been taking our cars to Bill for over 10 years now. He's always treated us fairly, honestly, and done excellent work. On top of all this, he is super reliable. There have been times when we had car issues and called him to see if we could come in the next day, and he always does what he can to accommodate us.

Conveniently located off the Nimitz Highway; coming from town, take a right on Ahua, and then an immediate right on Kilihau, first driveway on your right.

So, my Mazda 5 started overheating while doing some errands. Stopped at my wife's work and yelped mechanics. We took my car here because of another review here that was a friend of mine. And it was right on point!

After the car cooled we took it to Wrenchy's Auto Repair. After fixing the overheating problem (that was caused by another mechanic not putting on a clap correctly), we decided to have him fix the oil leak that we have been putting off. 

He did a great job going above and beyond what was expected. The price was very reasonable, much less than I expected. (I was quoted much more from the first guy). 

I highly recommend Wrenchy's Auto Repair for all your mechanic needs. We will be back. Hopefully not soon.

I'm hesitant to give up Wrenchy's Auto Repair to the Yelp world. My 10-year-old vehicle decided to give me transmission trouble. I was worried that it would need thousands of dollars of repairs. Bill from Wrenchy's Auto Repair was referred to me by another transmission shop that I had Yelped, and I am so thankful! 

In less than 24 hours after towing my vehicle to Wrenchy's Auto Repair and only a couple of hundred dollars later, my transmission was fixed and I was driving home! Bill said that everything else looked good and he did a couple other checks and gave me a heads-up about some warranty repairs. Bill and his crew are a rare gem in auto repairs.

Got my breaks and air conditioner done with Bill. So nice, friendly, and speedy service! I would definitely refer everyone and anyone here.

This shop is one of the best places to take your vehicle. They are honest and reasonable with their prices. I take both my working vehicle and my personal one. Great job, guys!

Gary is golden. You don't find good, honest mechanics like him anymore. The first time I went there, he took my car to repair, in place of the lineup in the garage. I was so grateful. He was honest and had fair prices.

The second time I went, I was driving to work and about to get on H1 when my car started shaking and rocking. I made a U-turn and went straight to Wrenchy's Auto Repair at 7:30 AM. He was so cool, he took the car right there and had it fixed by late that afternoon. It needed new plug wires, plugs, and a basic tune-up. And when I went to pick it up, he told me the engine mounts were so loose the car was about to lose the engine, period. I knew it had been squeaking and rocking and cracking for about a year, getting worse and worse. 

Turns out the last shop who worked on it last didn't cinch down the bolts on the engine mounts tight after they were replaced. So it was slowly loosening and loosening. I thought it was just the really bad roads in Hawaii. I am going to bring Gary a gift this weekend because he doesn't know how grateful I am for his thoughtfulness, great work, and integrity. Thank you, Gary!

This guy is honest and always follows through. I wouldn't take my car elsewhere. I've had him perform work on my 03 Subaru, and it's always done right and on time.

I've been to Bill's shop multiple times for various vehicle issues. He has installed an AC compressor and replaced the shocks and struts on my Nissan Pathfinder. Nothing to complain about thus far. I recently asked if he could fabricate a 3" exhaust elbow for my marine engine. His staff in the garage was up to the task and completed the job in less than a day! Give Bill your business. He's earned mine!

Finding an honest auto mechanic is always on the top of my list, and I think this shop meets that criteria. I think the cost of repairs is very reasonable. I also appreciated that they did not try to recommend a repair that was not needed. Been here twice with our Mercedes and Toyota. Was very satisfied with the services that were provided for both. This will be my go-to place for auto repairs and maintenance.

I was referred to Wrenchy's Auto Repair from T&T tint, which is right around the corner. Bill was very very helpful and friendly! I never knew this place was her, but from now on I will only come here to get my safety check. I think this is a family-owned business, and I would be glad to support it! Gary is fantastic to work with. He runs this repair shop with integrity and treats his customers with respect. He doesn't nickel-and-dime you, or try to up-sell, as many repair shops do. I will use Wrenchy's Auto Repair for all of my car's maintenance going forward.

Where do I start? This place is like shops I grew up with no finding any other reason to make a dime. You go there for one thing; they check it and don't look for other stuff that 'may or may not need to be replaced'. Totally friendly and honest!

I went in for one thing, got it done, and left. Not 10 minutes go by and my car didn't start, I called Wrenchy's Auto Repair and told them where I was, and they came to my rescue! For any mechanical problems, I'm definitely going back there. To support small local business and honest people that care for their customers and workmanship! Gary is super friendly with excellent customer service and great communication skills. I just had some safety checks done, but he helped explain the process of bringing in an out-of-state vehicle and his tips for the DMV saved me an hour of waiting. He's also always busy, which is a good sign, and I've seen everything from well-used cars to high-end luxury sports cars in his garage. He'll be maintaining my cars in the future.

My sister had an electrical problem with the headlights on her Buick. Wrenchy's Auto Repair diagnosed the problem correctly to the ground wiring. The cost to correct the problem was very reasonable. I can recommend Wrenchy's Auto Repair as an honest and trustworthy shop.

They were able to take my car in right away and have it back to me before lunch. The fix cost exactly what they quoted me. They were up front and honest about the quote saying they couldn't go any lower because they use high-quality products, yet they still beat their competitors' prices.
